Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position available: As a key member of the Executive Management team, the chief financial officer will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal/risk management, property management, deal analysis, and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance, and private and institutional financing. Education and Experience: 1) A master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; 2) Certified public accountant designation or equivalent; 3) At least 7 yrs. in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in a manufacturing environment; 4) Experience in senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff; 5) Significant experience in or knowledge of accounting and tax, including compliance and reporting. Critical Competencies for Success: Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated leadership ability, team management and interpersonal skills; excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills; experience working with information technology staff to manage finance and accounting software packages.
